Travel Reduction Program
Maricopa County in partnership with Valley employers implements and promotes Travel Reduction Programs. When people carpool, take the bus or light rail, walk, bike, telework or work compressed workweek schedules, they reduce traffic congestion and improve air quality.
In support of these initiatives, UDA offers incentives to employees for doing their part to help improve ai quality.

What is an Alternative Mode of Transportation?
- Any form of transportation that takes at least one vehicle off the road.
- Walk
- Bike
- Carpool
- Bus
- Light Rail
- Compressed Work Week
- Tele Commute
Where do I submit my information?
- In Paycom, go to the "Ask Here" Section.
- Click "On-Site Benefits"
- Click "Travel Reduction Program"
- Type in the month that you are submitting for.
- Select which mode of transportation you used.
- Click SUBMIT.
- All entries must be submitted by the 5th of the month to log info from the previous month.
- i.e. Submit your January information by Feb. 5.
- Submit your February information by Mar. 5.
- Drawings will be held the following business day.
- i.e. The 5th of the month is on a Friday, then the drawing will be held the following Monday.
- Winners will be notified via Paycom.
FREE BUS PASSES
Skip the drive all together and take the bus! UDA offers free bus passes to all employees. Get yours by submitting a request in Paycom.
GUARANTEED RIDE HOME
UDA will reimburse the Uber/Lyft expense for any employee needing to leave for an emergency.
Employee must have carpooled or rode the bus to work that day and submit appropriate documentation to be eligible.
