Five Reasons To Attend the Milk n More Grand Opening

Our little community convenience store, Milk n Moreis holding its Grand Opening celebration this Saturday (August 25, 2018). The Milk n More Store is more than your average store. You can find local milk and dairy products made at the co-op or with milk from our member dairies.

Treat yourself to ice cream, milkshakes, and smoothies! Grab a quick lunch with made-to-order sandwiches, salad bar (Monday/Wednesday), and sides like fresh-cut fruit or veggies.

Here are 5 reasons you should definitely stop by and celebrate!

 

1. FREE MILK FOR A YEAR?!

When you stop by the grand opening celebration, you can enter to win gift baskets from Shamrock Farms and Arizona Milk Producers! Grand prize winners will receive FREE Milk for a year AND FREE Cheese Curds for a year*! *rules

2. FREE FOOD!

At various times during the celebration, the Milk n More store will be offering some yummy samples of new items.

2. Cow Mascot Selfies?

Official Arizona Milk Producers mascot, Daisy the Cow, is excited to hop in your selfies and handout goodies to the kids! Daisy will be roaming from 10:30 - 12:30 so be sure to catch her while she's out.

 

3. Games and Giveaways

Speaking of kids, we have a couple of games for our pint sized attendees to play and giveaways so you won't leave empty handed. 

 

4. Local Chef Sighting!

At noon, local chef and Chopped contestant, Chris Brugman will be making a Spicy Queso using simple ingredients, like Arizona Farms Cheese (all varieties sold in store) for attendees to try. This will be the perfect addition to your Sunday menu when football starts.

5. Farmers at the Market

Come meet the people who make your milk! Bill and Sine Kerr, whose family used to dairy in Tempe, will be available to answer all your dairy questions. They may even have some milk and cookies for anyone who stops by their table. (while supplies last). The Kerrs will be chatting with customers from 10:30 to 12:00.
